About Me

I’m Florian Schmidt, a Java EE software developer from the beautiful small village Murnau in Germany. In my previous career, I have learned a lot of different programming languages. I’m part of the “generation C64”, so everything started with BASIC on my beloved C64. In university I learned Modula-2, C, C++ and Java. My first jobs were on Perl and PHP. In the end I stuck with Java. The main time, about 15 years of my developer life, I spent on the ecosystem Java and JEE. Java is great :heart:! Swift and mobile app development has captivated me for the last 4 years. Let’s see what the future brings.
